The beloved OS/2 Advanced Voice and Advanced Voice Information Management
(AIM) scripting language has been finally discontinued. Advanced Voice has
been around since the early 90's and is finally out dated. There are many
clients that have asked us to continue support, however it is just to
difficult for many reasons to do this. The biggest reason is to continue to
find competent programmers and personal to support OS/2. As most of you know
the President of CSI, David Leone, was committed to OS/2 and has kept Advanced
Voice alive all these years due to this commitment. However, in his words
"All great things have an end".
It has been increasingly difficult for clients to obtain a valid license to
OS/2 and the call for Advanced Voice and the easy but powerfull scripting
language of AIM has been decreased over the years.
Full source code of the engine, compiler, and all functionality is
currently available to all previous licensed users of Advanced Voice upon the
signing of a non-disclosure, non-compete agreement and a revenue sharing contract.
Current users of Advanced voice please continue to watch our News. In the
next few months we will have an announcement that you will be interested in.
